Despite favourable weather, there were less display vehicles & spectators this year. I suspect the financial crunch is biting hard for many who couldn’t part with the substantial $70 for the spectator entry fee. Strangely the 2 day entry fee was not much more at $90.

It’s also possible the petrolheads are dying off & many younger ones are turning to EVs or hybrids. I did notice several older guys who appeared quite ill & many younger males who appeared to have progressed from Harley Davidsons to 4 wheels. Perhaps ex or current bikers are the only ones who can afford this hobby now??

Anyway, a huge congrats is in order for Styria’s son Brent who won best interior with the green Monaro against some truly amazing competition; wow! 🏆

That looks like a pretty spectacular event.
Thanks for all the amazing images.
For me the most spectacular thing here is that stunning green Monaro interior.
Styria’s son has done a magnificent job.
