I have decided to let he market decide what my 6.9 ("Benny") is worth so have just listed it on ebay. I thought I would let the members of Topklasse know straight away in case you have an interest.

If you do bid please let me know you are a member and Ill know you are a serious devotee.

Ill feel much better knowing its going to an enthusiast rather than someone who doesn't appreciate what these machines really are.

You already have a 4 car garage and a front yard full of vun vun sech's... do you really think you need another one?! Actually, yeah - bring another sechs neuner to capitown. Keep the stocks here.

Jammer's car is a 'nice' driver - he bought it off Peter Walsh in Melbourne some 18 months ago. I do in fact still have some of the paperwork that Jammer left with me at some stage. It's been previously advertized with a somewhat largish reserve, and I know that Burty from WA had shown considerable interest. That's all I can say and know. Regards Styria

Well, it finished up being passed in at $5600.00. Whilst a presumably thorough mechanical inspection suggested that the maximum value be somewhere near the five grand mark, I do feel that at the passed - in price as quoted it represented very good value for money.

Mind, I haven't seen the car for at least twelve months or thereabouts, so its condition may have changed somewhat. I do know now that there were some issues with non-operating windows, but it is not clear what caused them not to function. Perhaps it's a good thing that the car remains in Sydney as a number of 6.9s have been lost to interstate buyers. Regards Styria
