Well I put off the job of replacing these spark plugs, because I had to remove to whole intake manifold on the Nissan Dualis, which is a daily driver. I cant remember the service interval, but it might’ve been 100k kms, or even 50k kms.
In the blink of an eye 100kkms turned into 230kkm!! The enormous plug gap caused a coil pack failure which led to an obvious misfire & engine light activation! I replaced the plugs & reassembled only to discover the coil pack/s in trouble so I had to do the whole job twice! I hang my head in shame!! Don’t put off scheduled maintenance (I should’ve learnt by now)! To add insult to injury I bought new plugs and the intake gasket years ago but couldn’t find them when I needed them so I had to buy another set! I guess they’ll be ready for next time (in 50-100kkms)!!
