Not sure if this is a mechanical [nuts and bolts and other moving parts] or Interiors [Carpet, Vinyl and Wood] post. Given my definitions as shown, I've placed it in Mechanicals.
I have a question relating to the HVAC system.
On my lovely old Milan coloured beastie [otherwise known in the family as the big brown bitch], all systems appear to function, except that I find the following two curiosities.
1. When heater sliders [both] are in any of the heating range and the defrost slider is in UP pos'n [regardless of the floor slider pos'n] I get heated air to the windscreen - which is good. If the floor slider is set to floor pos'n, sadly I don't get hot air to the floor vents, just cold air.
2. When heater sliders [both] are in any of the heating range and the defrost slider is in UP pos'n [regardless of the floor slider pos'n] I get heated air to the windscreen. If the floor slider is set to floor pos'n, I get warm air to the driver's vent, and just cold air to the passenger vent.
Not knowing how the flaps are set up, etc: I just don't know what can be wrong.
Anyone got a clue and better yet, can anyone suggest a repair?
