Cheap 6.3 for sale

Well you know what they say about cheap MBs.... Might not be so cheap in the end! But this might be worth a look since it's a great colour combo:

Early model 6.3s have a number of interior and trim items that are different to the later models. Electric window switches, different wiring for electric windows, gear change selectors back to front compared with later models. Interesting car - I don't think it will be all that cheap to buy. N.B. When you get a car like the 6.3, and no disrespect meant in any way, there are literally dozens of components that can require attention.

Not so sure if TK will be going long enough to feature that car in restored condition. It's a mammoth task - just look at the interior...well no, the engine bay.....well no, how about the body then ? See what I mean ? Regards Styria

The market has shown several times now W109's have a base value at around the sale price achieved here, they are remarkable cars, and with only about 20,000 produced over it's lifetime, uncommon

I personally would take the one in Perth over this that me and Ant looked at. It was early Euro with at least a good body in its favour. No sunroof and a few other interesting features. Had standard W108/9 headlights .

It did look a bit sad in real life, but I have seen worse things brought back to life. If you have a quick look around, the cheapest 6.3 for sale is $27,500 and close to $60,000 at the upper end (there are a few in the high 50's). The 6.3 in Perth was bought last week for $5,000.

Yes I was with Ant when he bought M189 powered 300 . Told owner at the time 6k was probably limit. But if I wasn't committed to 6.9 I may have been interested as it did have a good body.
