Slightly improved, with some rust repairs. I recognised the car by the unique aircleaner (the snorkle has been shortened)! I missed out on buying the car when it was last for sale in Lilydale... Hopefully someone else can rescue the old girl 'cause my garage is full!

I'll say it for the umpteenth time - totally amazed at the poor condition body and interior wise on a car that, ostensibly, matched Rolls Royce etc. on all fronts, including purchase price when they were new. Looks as though this fellow lost interest very quickly, and I can understand why. Interior kaputt etc. etc. - one could go on. Regards Styria

I just scored an almost one owner 450SEL that needs a bit of work

Michel congrats on the purchase good to see another Mercedes added to the collection.

One does ask the obvious question is the 450SEL a red colour or any future plans to paint the car red?
