Brown 6.3 for sale in Sydney

For those wanting one at a reasonable price (at this stage).... I do like black interiors, but this one needs a little TLC.

Black interiors are the easiest to keep clean, only problem is a burnt posterior on a hot day.

Black exteriors are by far the hardest to keep looking nice. I am a detailer. Personally, I would never own a black car, just too much trouble.

If you own a Mercedes-Benz, silver is the only colour, the inspiration comes from the old Silver Arrows.

For me? I own a metallic blue one with parchment interior. With second car purchases, you gets what is on offer.

Over a long period of time, I have gradually fallen in love with the colour scheme. Just needs some two tone magnetite blue on the lower half.

Agree black cars are too much trouble to keep clean almost 6 years trying my best to keep the black Toyota Yaris clean NOT an easy job!

Well, I reckon this would have to be a bogus winning bid. When I looked at the car initially (on ebay) I figured that really I did not want to touch the car - buggered interior, and not in all that good a condition overall. It's not that I would want to be overly critical or pessimistic, or just be a 'knocker', but I am very familiar with times taken, and money required, to turn these cars into something above average.....but, who am I to shoot off my mouth ? Same car. There is a stain on the right rear door armrest in both ads. Interestingly, in the eBay ad, he says it is valued at $15,000, and the car sales ad is for sale at $11,000 so who knows what the story is with the eBay final sale price.

I still feel that the eBay bidder was a dummy.

No one in the market to buys a 6.3 goes without checking every selling site possible!

He or she would have seen the carsales page!

There is no doubt in my mind that there is something fishy going on here, theres no way this is a legit sale...........and oh yeah 48533kms..........?? yeah right pull the other one

The price shot up really quickly and I know I wouldn't pay that for something that looked shabby and neglected. Despite the fact it's a 6.3. It's very poorly presented and the PO couldn't expect a premium price in that state. It really wouldn't take much effort to make it LOOK far better. Tears in the seat, suspected leaks in the suspension and rust? Over $30K... Aww c'mon!!

Still, I bet it will turn up in the not-too-distant future on aBay as a fallen sale.

Maybe the final bid was legit as it hasn't come up for sale again... And it should be noted that there was more than one bidder right up until the end. And when was the last time one was for sale; maybe buyers are starting to realize they're becoming very hard to find?

The description would turn most people off - not to mention the rust. Looks like the sunroof drains being blocked has caused the rust in the C pillar - reasonably common problem and the second one I have seen like that in recent times. Asking price would be hard to justify based on the work required to bring it up to a reliable driver.
