A lot of car for the money - such a nice, clean and elegant shape. I just wish they'd be a bit more affordable. As my partner says, anyone can buy a Mercedes, but not every one can maintain it. She's spot on. Regards Styria

Ah yes, but there's Mercedes and then there's the 6.9! Or the 6.3, or the 600..... And not anyone can buy one because they're not often for sale and if they are, they get snapped up quickly. Reading the M-100cc forum, the silver AMG has been sold already.

Oh and unless you're regularly under attack, this one's just a novelty which will use way more fuel, tyres and brakes. I wonder what the GVM would be??

I agree wholeheartedly Mark... The novelty would wear out, but the consumption would not.

And by consumption, you need to consider everything here.

The weight of this monster would be around 3tonnes...
Tyres.. They would be quite expensive so they can handle the weight at high speeds (and they would never give you normal mileage).
The engine (and tranny) would labour (under the extra weight) and thus would require oil changes at strict intervals.
The brakes would wear out quicker (stopping the monstrosity).

and so on...
