Well, I'm into it now...before I get too tired.

Can anyone find a proper description for this extent of exquisity ? I can't.

..but what intrigued me was the...Supercharger arrangement ? A designer's nightmare or today's problem child ? Whichever.

TVR - a body of striking beauty - indeed. But you need to look at these 'Gleaming Beauty's look alike Taiwanese Speedys. The man's got taste.

The "Bristol" is a Jowett Jupiter. The supercharger probably comes from a Toyota and is a common after-market feature of older cars as it gives an improvement in performance without having to do alter original plumbing to the point of ruining originality.
Good quality photos - nice.

Thanks for the photo compliment and clarifying the make of car. As far as the photos are concerned, the camera itself has to be given the credit. I remember at the time of purchase just on seven years ago, the people at JB Hi Fi advised me to buy one from a recognized camera manufacture specialist and that is how I came to purchase the Olympic C7700 unit. I have never been disappointed with that decision as it has never given an ounce of trouble. The original battery was only just recently replaced at a cost of $62.00.

The Jowett Jupiter ? Was it too far ahead of its time back in the fifties. Unless I am mistaken, it had been fitted with a horizontically opposed flat four cylinder engine, and with front wheel drive ? The question marke applies to the later. I would imagine that fitting the Supercharger would require definite mechanical skills. Regards Styria

The Jowett was FWD and a flat 4.
A friend is fitting a supercharger to his Riley and there is not issue other than the fabrication of a bracket and aligning the drive pulleys. Simple enough for a skilled engineer. It will be interesting to drive the result in a week or two.
