Hi Mark, the 6.9s had two types of Radiators. the high compression engine had a separate engine oil cooling Radiator, with the Australian and American version having a somewhat wider unit, and that version also incorporated gearbox oil coolant with the prerequisite plumbing changes on account of a separate gearbox oil cooling pump. You may be able to adopt a 450 unit, but with a lot of difficulty. Regards Styria

Hi yes the standard 450 radiator is quite different to even the low comp US or med comp Aussie 6.9 units. The connects for the hoses are on opposite sides at the very least

Gets pretty hot out here in summer and i took my 6.9 radiator out and got the local radiator expert to take the tank’s off and ”rod” the tubes.. 15% of the tubes were blocked solid so I took the radiator out of my parts car and tried it and it came up really good . It’s going into my drive car today and hopefully it will handle the hot weather a bit better. Regads Mark.

That's a good outcome - nice to have the parts on hand. You could also have considered having a new core manufactured, but even that sort of facility is starting to die out. It's becoming more and more difficult to find the right tradespeople. Regards Styria
