There is no 6.9 badge on the right hand corner of the boot so is it the 6.9 model?

Yes, it is a 6.9. It was very common to delete the badge, or badges at the time as owners did not want people to know they had spent big bucks on a 6.9. Mine has both badges deleted, and confirmed by the data card.

Sorry Burl Walnut does not mean its a 6.9 as my 6.9 has Zebrano from new. But yes later 6.9 it was standard in.As for the Classic Centre last high priced 6.9. Was White.

Later 450 models, with the M117 engine, also came with either Burr Walnut, or Zebrano for that matter. Regarding the car in question here. It's not all that cheap, is it ?

What I find paradoxical, and surprising considering the identity of the seller, is the door trim that shows the usual evidence of foam that has obviously turned to dust, as evidenced by the gathering of the material. Additionally, I would also have thought that the car would have been re-upholstered in new leather, but not so. The rear seat again does show signs of collapsed pleats - frequently found on the 116s. I guess you're paying for a low km good condition Euro with history (?). Obviously there's still work to be done to make it a pristine example. Which makes you wonder how much one of those would cost.....

Another interesting fact is that it's a four door sedan. There'd be very few classic sedans that would demand such a high price. The Ford GT HO is the only other that comes to mind
