6.9 Air cells check & replacement

I recently moved to Castle Hill and I was looking for a referral for a good mechanic to work on my 6.9.

Of particular concern at the moment is the suspension.

I doubt that Mark will be reading these posts, as he had me do the posting for him and Mark has put his contact email in the note. The car he wants checked was the white 6.9 John Laws owned until recently.

I wonder what that 6.9 of John Laws' is like nowadays ? I saw it years ago when both Lawsie (should I call him that) and Rene Rivkin, plus I think others, exhibited their cars at Darling Harbour. It was a magnificent collection, including a beautiful S3 Bentley Convertible, and there was also a McLaren Sports Car exhibited just down from the other cars. The 6.9 looked abso pristine, but was somewhat dwarfd by the Rolls Royce and Bentley exhibits. Regards Styria

I was there (at that display) but don't recall seeing any 6.9s at the time (and I do have pics)

Michel, I am talking more than ten years ago - pretty sure of that. His 6.9 was, and still is, white. I did see it yesterday and it is in quite pristine condition. The present owner purchased the car some seven years ago, and he is very proud of it and has looked after it splendidly. He is also the owner of a quite magnificent Rolls Royce Silver Shadow MarkII which has been repainted in a special option or version of a Blue colour. He did mention the name, but I have forgotten.

It was an interesting drive, and the car just needs some knowledgeable TLC. Whatsmore, he has a huge folder of invoices detailing repairs and maintenance, and some details make interesting reading. Regards Styria

N.B. Yep Michel, those were some of the cars and by golly, they were just so absolutly magnificent. I know that you couldn't have taken notice of Laws' 6.9, but it really was quite tiny when compared with the other cars. Thanks for the photos. Nice one of Brockie.
