It dawned on me the other day that I had not only failed to visit this esteemed forum in many, many months, but that I'd also not posted details of my restoration work on my '76 6.9.

It started out as a "routine" rebuild of the front end suspension with the full intention of replacing the sills and fixing the rusted fuel system that came from sitting for far too long in a shed at the house...

Ever notice how threads that contain the phrase "it started out" always explode into so much more?

I'll try to grab the detail postings from M-100 and W116 and post them here for those that are interested.

Long time since we have heard from you. As you know, you did seek some advice regarding various suspension components, but I did not hear back from you.

It is really hoped that you have been able to overcome the various issues you experienced and, if you have the time and inclination, it would be great and much appreciated if you could forward details of your restoration. Regards Styria
