Presumably, it has the books with it, to prove it's authenticity.
Some items in a car age with time, not distance covered.
Such items can include rubber bushes, oil seals, hoses and belts.
Even with the temperature up on the car I would have thought such a low k motor would hold a higher oil pressure reading? It may be that it has done a lot of very short trips in Japan and is not quite the "good buy" that it seems.
On the other hand, I could be wrong. It would require investigation - certainly the body and interior look to be in excellent condition.

Brian
That oil pressure reading is quite remarkable - well, not in a good way so to speak, especially given the car's low purported mileage. I cast my mind back to the day when Sydney experienced temperatures in excess of at least forty two degress when I was travelling along Parramattea Road approaching the Strathfield intersection - always a bad spot. We were virtually stationary for the best part of fifteen to twenty minutes, Air Con switched on, water temperature on the 420SEL up to just on 100 degrees and the oil pressure reading was still only down to about 1.5 on the gauge with engine idling and in gear. Sorry to keep on about the 420, but by crikey it's been a cracking good car since I bought it a few months ago. Regards Styria
N.B. Sorry that it did not re-produce the instrument cluster picture.
