The car is as black as they come ok here are some better pictures, i painted the Grill black today, it actually looks a lot better in black then in grey. So far i have installed

-Euro Bumpers
-AMG Front Valence
-Amg Rear Badge
-AMG 16 inch Pentas
-AMG steering wheel
-Dash Cap
- Remove Cats

-Becker Mexico

Things I have yet to do:

-Find AMG rear Tail
-Install euro Headlights "DONE"
-Fix Leaky Fuel Distributor
-lower car about 1.5 to 2 inches
- Install a hose to route cold air into Intake
-Find AMG exhaust / Make a replica AMG exhaust
-Possible buy and install "new modern" Becker Mexico

Hi 500E guy, that's a pretty smash looking car - I don't recall you ever having mentioned it previously unless its been on the W116 site. Are the AMG add ons items that you have been collecting for some time. That black exterior and AMG wheels certainly look the part.

Do you have any pics of the interior/colour of the car ? So, you've got your 500E, this 450SEL and do you also still have the 380SL that you bought some while ago at a very realistic price. Do you still have it as well, and have you yet done any restoration or repair work on the car.

well styria, i had mentioned it when i first bought the car on w116.org, i sold the 380sl, and aquired a bunch of new mercs...well new to me, i have a

1960 190B-Trans being rebuilt right now
1992 500e-down right now, thinking its the ignition module
1984 500sec euro spec
1978 450Sl
1972 250

And waiting to purchase a 6.3...

Styria, i had gathered the AMG parts, and the euro stuff, i am still trying to add the finishing touches to the car. More updates and questions to come i am sure.

Well, it's been many moons since we've heard from 500E guy. Does anyone know of his whereabouts etc. He certainly has/had a fine selection of cars and it would have been interesting to get further updates. Regards Styria
