Having a committed interest in my new mode of transportation (two wheels, zero emissions) we are looking to move from being a 3 car family to one - hence the mint-green monster is up for grabs.

Despite mild hail-damage and rear wheel-well rust the car is in excellent condition and I have made recent repairs (incase you did't already know) to firewall rust, interior, stereo upgrade and the entire cooling system (incl. water pump & hoses) have been recently overhauled.

Engine & driveline is strong and suspension is excellent. Interior is neat & clean - just needs a little external attention and you have yourself a great example of Mercedes machinery.

We all have seen the amount of work that Mercules has put into this car since he acquired it a couple of months ago. Therefore, rust should no longer be a problem - certainly not from that dreaded firewall area. The small amount in the rear wheel wells is comparative child's play.

What Merecules has not told you is that JohnS, the car's previous owner and a member on 'Topklasse', the amount he spent in attending and refurbishing the interior. Parks and I did all of the work, such as door trims, back and front seats and it is indeed a very comfortable, and pleasing to the eye, interior. Carpets are in good condition and, all in all, the car deserves to go to another good home. I can also provide an excellent bootlid free of charge to any intending buyer. Regards Styria

For any interested parties, I am still looking to SEL my 450. Since my last post I have removed the patchwork from the N/S wheelwell and removed all the cancer - the job is about 1/2 way done but I have been so busy on weekends I havent been able ice the cake! I have some paint mixed up ready to go as well.

Additionally the car has long rego and has been dyno tuned so it's now making the power it should.

Hi Mercules, I am really surprised that no-one has snapped up your car. It has had good money spent on the interior - just ask JohnS, honourable Topklasse member and previous owner of the car. I shall keep a look out for you.

I myself already have a 450SE sitting in my back yard, so space is an absolute problem. If it weren't for that, I would grab the car off you. Regards Styria
