There are 6.9 of them unless you are familiar with this brilliant piece of cinematic art.

Oh and a Youtube interview and drive....


Why it's great: Claude Lelouche's 1976 film is just about everything you could want in a car film. There's a mysterious male protagonist who never even talks once, gets the girl at the end, and spends the entire time in between scaring the #### out of Parisian pedestrians and commuter vans.

Well Tony, you never got many takers for this, did you ? Yet, there is some absolutely fascinating reading on this webpage. Unfortunately, it sort of disappeared down the gurgler. I came across it during my attempts to sort out the various mumbo-jumbo posts and threads that have become somewhat of a 'trademark' (?) of TK. That situation should soon be a thing of the past. I suspect that most of you already read Jalopnik and had seen it.

As Jalops is an Auto "Blog" style Ezine it can be a bit of a pain to navigate but their articles and reprints are usually fascinating and unpretentious.

Their other endearing property is that the links always stay alive.
