I will be putting the 6.9 for 90/120 days & have been given conflicting advise on long term storage: 1) place the car on custom made blocks, fill fuel tank/ fuel additive etc. 2) arrange to have it driven for an hour every 30 days. Any thoughts?

I have found a 1979 280se with a clutch that I am considering purchasing. The car is not currently a driver & I have been unable to find any information on this car.(hp, mpg,etc) Has anyone owned one? How are they to live with? How do they compare with a 3.5 or 4.5 automatic car?

My 1977 6.9 has started running very rough when it is cold. The car starts fine, run's great when warm, but feels like it a diesel when cold. If I rev the engine it smooth's out. Cold start vale? Is there a way to test it? Thanks!
