Another 450SEL... Work in Progress

You might have read in another thread that I acquired a 450SEL one owner.
Mechanically excellent, with a straight body unfortunaletly with a fair bit of rust.

Two weeks ago, Jerry got stuck into it.
All the body has been repaired, prepared and painted.

This morning it received the final coats.
Here are a couple of pics.

More pics as it is done and hoping to have it to show those coming to the BBQ on Saturday.

pretty nice deep blue from the photos

I think I'd fit clear front indicators as not to detract from the paintwork, just my opinion.

going to be a nice car by the looks of it.

The interior was sad, but I managed to find an immaculate MB-Tex interior that I have now in the workshop.

I'll be swapping it soon.
Otherwise, it needs nothing

Is the 450 a 4.5ltr or a 6.9ltr V8?

Happy motoring Michel 450 is sure to be attract a crowd at Saturday's BBQ.

Have a sanga and sauce for me on Saturday guys at the BBQ just one though!

4.5ltr V8 engine still enough up and go that's for sure!

Ben still has the 450 for sale it was a Lapis Blue colour from memory?

Please let me know Michel if Ben knows of a good example 300SEL W126 for sale?

My BLU will just be the metalic blue 904 to go with the blue interior.

Mine is also dark (Magnetic) Blue and dark Blue interior
