It's interesting to see a listing for the M117 engine - alas, no price. Much of an unknown operation, or knowledge of success of re-grind, having regard to other components of the engine that may well need some form of modification as well. Regards Styria

Hi Styria yes the M110 made 185 hp in its highest form. AMG made a 210 hp upgrade kit. Vath currently sell a 220 hp rebuilt engine http://www.vaeth.com/en/engine-refinement/mercedes/engines/m110.html . These use the above cams and are currently for sale at about 11500 euros http://www.ebay.de/itm/Mercedes-Mot...678384050?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item20c115c9b2 . and the cams are 286 euros if you look Styria.

I've seen adjustable cam gears for the 6.3 on FB and I'd presume they'd fit a 6.9

Okky dokky hang onto your hats were not in Kansas anymore. For the M117 custom manual conversion and fly wheels and lsd diff centres. http://www.elbe.ee/products/drivetrain . Full bolt in efi conversion where was this when i started my car http://www.elbe.ee/products/efi-kit/m117 . Bolt in turbo kits they even make one for the M103 Tim http://www.elbe.ee/products/turbokit .

Have spoken to cat cams cost just over 1000 dollars. Now is anybody interested in parts suppliers and interior there is more than just GAHH.

And if all you want is modern efi that controls fuel only not ignition. http://www.fuelairspark.com/fas/efi-systems . A hell off a lot cheaper than i spent its a plug and tune system once fitted go for a drive and it tunes itself.
