vacuum retard
On a Euro spec 110 engine I'm in two minds about the merits or otherwise of plugging the vacuum retard line. It retards the timing at idle and cuts out as the vacuum drops when the throttle is opened and the engine is under load........ BUT..
does it result in a conflict with the advance vacuum when running on a light throttle
Ie., on the highway ? ? I realise that its' function is to raise the idle speed when the Air Con is on by blocking the vacuum to the distributor. The static...
